Consumers pay more for fresh vegetables and potatoes |

In September, consumer prices for fresh vegetables increased by 5.2% and potatoes by 3.5% compared to August. The consumer price of pork also rose in September (1.6%). Prices off fresh fruit (-2.8%), beef cattle (-2.4%) and dairy products (-1%). droped. Consumer prices for bread and poultry meat remained unchanged.
The biggest price changes 'ex farm' in September were with eggs (12.2%) and potatoes (9.3%). Also for milk, beef and poultry meat, higher prices were paid to the farmer in September than in August. The price of pork fell by 2.5%.
